Yalonda Smith, LRC
Yalonda is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Yalonda enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has a special interest in providing premarital and marital counseling and deeply enjoys working with clients from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Because she is an ordained clergy person she also has a passion for addressing the spiritual and mental health needs and wellness of other faith leaders.
Yalonda is a person-centered therapist, believing in the power of change by offering unconditional positive regard and allowing you to express yourself freely, honestly, and without judgement. At the same time, she offers a practical, trauma-informed approach, utilizing evidenced-based strategies to challenge you to push beyond your comfort zone as you navigate life’s changes. Yalonda hopes to partner with you on your journey to wellness and healing, offering warmth, support, kindness, and a little humor and laughter.

Zachary Khoury, LGPC
Zachary Khoury is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the District of Columbia. He obtained his M.A. in Forensic Psychology Professional Licensure Track from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology D.C. Campus. Mr. Khoury has extensive experience providing mental health services for underprivileged individuals in the community as well as in private settings. His approach combines therapeutic techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, and mindfulness theories of therapy. Mr. Khoury puts much emphasis on building a strong therapeutic relationship and meeting the client where they are in terms of their needs. Mr. Khoury works with young to middle-aged adults presenting with a wide range of psychological issues including: trauma and traumatic experiences, PTSD, phobias, adjustment problems, panic disorders, and substance-related concerns. Mr. Khoury also has experience working in the criminal justice setting with mandated therapy.

Zoeann Finzi-Adams, PhD
Dr. Finzi-Adams specializes in anxiety, relational issues, life transitions, women’s issues, and culturally based concerns. Her clinical interests revolve around experiences of discrimination and intersecting identities among ethnic and racial minorities, with a focus on issues pertaining to colorism and unique stressors that impact women from the African diaspora. Clinically, she specializes in diversity training, group psychotherapy, interpersonal dynamics, emerging adulthood, and working within university/college settings.
